Course details

Our five-week introductory course in beginning archery for Mount Albert Grammar School students will start on Sunday 18 February 2024 and run each Sunday from 1:00pm-2:30pm. Please arrive promptly before at least 15 min before to ensure gear can be issued and to maximise lesson time.

Enrol in this course by purchasing a "ticket" below. No need to show this on the day! Although the ticket only lists the course's start date, it is valid for the entire course. Dates include:

Sundays 1:00pm-2:30pm: Feb 18th, 25th, Mar 3rd, 10th, 17th (Makeup day Mar 24th if needed)

The course runs in all weather, including rain.
In severe weather conditions it may be cancelled / postponed (this will be updated on our website by 8AM on the morning of the course)

Consent and disclaimer

By enrolling in this course, you consent to Mountain Green Archery Club Inc (MGAC) collecting the details you provide, retaining and using those details during your course for the purposes of communicating with you about club policies, and disclosing your name and division to Archery New Zealand upon request. You also consent to this information being available to the club committee for the purpose of contacting you regarding club activities. You may unsubscribe from club activity communications at any time.

You also agree to follow safety regulations as per the Club's Shooting Rules and Constitution. You acknowledge your right to have access to your personal information via this event/membership portal. The consent is given in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

During the enrolment/payment process, a parent/caregiver must tick to agree that they consent to you attending the course. Note that we recommend a parent/caregiver be present during at least the first two course sessions to help supervise your child's learning.

Cancellation Policy

Your registration status for this course is not confirmed until payment has been made in full.
If you are unable to attend this course, please notify us at coaching@mgac.org.nz at least 48 hours before the start of the first session.  You may receive a full refund or have the option to transfer to a later similar course (pending availability).

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or after the first course session has started, you may receive a refund of 50% of the course fee, and will be charged full price for any later courses you register for.

If you miss more than 2 sessions of a course, you may be asked to transfer to a later course at the coach's discretion; if you are asked to transfer, you will forfeit the cost of the first course and receive a 50% discount on the later course fee.
